Misty, mystical, magical wonders at the #Yehliu Cape of the #Geopark. This is my #view of the #sea from the pavillion located at the tippy top of #GueitouMountain (“Turtle Head”) at the furthest north point out on #Yehliu Cape…except, apparently, we could have gone a little further out to THAT point if we dared. What you can’t see in this photo are two tiny fishermen down at the tips of those rocks down there. The waves are strong, unpredictable, deadly, and dangerous, yet we saw a handful of fishermen along the backside of the park as we approached this point. (To repeat myself from the previous post): We hiked up the steep side of the mountain (which we later found out was actually “closed off”) and kept following the steps up and up behind each turn. Our curiosity took us to the top and we were pleasantly surprised with a gorgeous full view of Yehliu Cape and a lookout of the vast sea and #horizon. The winds were strong and the sky was grey.
